If I don't burn the town of Assjacket down while trying to save it, I'm donning my red cape and playing who's the big bad wolf with a for real wolf who's hotter than any fireball. Another great "ride"

I love this series. This book takes you a wild ride with all kinds of crazy whacked out characters. A dad who used to be a cat, a werewolf boyfriend who insist she is his mate. She i not used to be loved so it is hard for Zelda to want to commit. She feels she is not good enough for him. In this story she finds out even more about what she needs to do and her powers. Things just keep getting wacky for her, a ghost comes to visit, her dad dating Baba Yaga, her old cellmate comes to town bringing Zelda's inherited cat familiars with bad attitudes and vulgar mouths. She comes face to face with the great evil. Once all this is done, will she stay???????????

Great book and series. I recommend if you want a great laugh and don't get offended with off color jokes, language. It is so good i have started book 3.

She Is a Witch!

This was a fun story. You chortle, then you are intent upon the struggle going on. The characters are certainly a bit crazy and ALOT different. You meet shifters, talking cats, warlocks, an army of Badgers, and a ghost to name a few. I had one problem but in these days and times I guess I must get used to it. The language is sometimes offensive. I guess words that are used are acceptable now. They just make me uncomfortable since they were not used in my home growing up, nor raising my children. I did love the humor and will be looking for the next book.

Entertaining!

This was a delightful experience, had me laughing and rooting for the main character, which is the best witch ever. Thanks for such a great read. Can't wait for the next one.

If you're looking for a full. Sexy story filled with excitement and lots of action look no further. These fun and loveable witches and shifters are guaranteed to make you laugh until you pee your pants. Grab a cozy seat and enjoy this hilarious and fun adventure.

Over the top funny!

For all that this book is hilarious, it also has some hidden depths. Zelda is fighting her destiny hand over a$$. She doesn't believe she deserves to be loved. She doesn't know how to do love. So, she's lying to herself as she falls in love with the inhabitants of Assjacket. She doesn't want to care. But she does. She keeps telling herself that she's leaving, soonish.

As for the characters, I think they are awesome. There are a lot, with strengths, weaknesses, and their own separate destinies. Some you meet in the first book, and more here. The cats had me in stitches, and I think I'm starting to love Sassy. Then of course there's Mac. Just say, Yum!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good dose of humor with their shifters and their shifter wanker.

It took me a few chapters to get used to the narrator, but she soon grew on me, and now her voice sounds just right. She does a lot of different voices, inflections, and accents, helping to distinguish the different characters.

heartwarming and hilarious

loved it! a sweet story of love and lust, rehabilitation and redemption, and the true meaning of belonging, all interspersed with Peterman's trademark snark and pornographic humor.

So many fun characters

I liked this book as much as the last one. So many characters are entertaining in different ways.

My favorite book yet!

This book made me laugh out loud so many times. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one and hope the remainder of the series will be just as entertaining.

great book to listen to on long trips. funny and lighthearted. very entertaining. can't wait to listen to sequel.

Loving this series

Zelda has a mission, to find who murdered her aunt Hildey. She also refuses to give in that she's Mac's mate. Fabio the cat, is now Fabio the dad. Zelda's new life in Assjacket, WV is full of fun and drama. I love Zelda's sarcastic and snarky ways. I can't wait til she gives into Mac, I think they are just too cute together. I love all the characters, and love to hear all the stories. I will definitely continue on with this series.
