A great dead but disappointing ending
Winter Kill drew me in right away and kept me rapt through out. The ending though was disappointing. Joe’s last encounter with Melinda was sophomoric in comparison to how he handled himself through out the story.

Winterkill
I recently started reading books by CJ Box. I have enjoyed all of them so far. This book did not disappoint. Life is messy, unpredictable and full of tough decisions. Box shows us the hardship and beauty of living in the Wyoming mountains while continuing his story about a game warden's struggles with family life and the bureaucracy of government work.
I also enjoy Chandler's narration, and am glad he has continued to read this series.
