This is the book that is clearly a pivot point in Larkspur’s story. The Elemental series is part of a larger world with the Rylee Adamson series, and this is the book where you can begin to see the connections happening.

This book also starts to take an even darker turn. Lark’s dad, the king, is missing and she must go and find him to bring him home. Along the way she tries to fix what is broken in the elemental world, but is one Ender enough?

Larkspur is such a great character and I am so excited to see where else her story goes.

I loved the graphic audiobook version. The story completely came to life as I listened to it and all the narrators did a spectacular job.

What an Adventure

With friends like Cactus and Peta on her side, there is nothing Larkspur can’t overcome. No challenge too great! What more can a girl ask for 💜

so empowering and women focused. elegantly touchs important negative topics in a classy way. entire story is so cohesive. brilliant author!

Hate the graphic audio

Terrible. prefer narration by Lauren Fortgang
sounds effects cheesy and distracting. Removes the listeners own use of imagination
