After returning alive from the Demon Beast Mountain Range, Eryk tries to resume his normal activities, but there are many issues that have cropped up now that he is back.

Kari has been dreaming of their previous lives together ever since they shared a bed. Lin has gained a seal on her chest that resembles the one that would show up on Kari’s chest when they slept together in his previous life. Fay is struggling to find her place in his harem. The Leucht Family has disappeared with Dyr in their possession. And to top it off, Empress Hilda plans to announce Eryk’s engagement to Kari, Fay, and Lin.

With so much going on, and with dreams of his past now plaguing both him and Kari, Eryk has the strangest feeling that the newest chapter in his life is going to be a rough one.

great story building.

about an hour left alot of it got repeated. When Kari thought of the light orb. when she killed Skagg.

Good

Slow start but it has a very exciting ending. So far the story is staying on track and is just as good as when it started. Sometimes book series like these tend to lose steam after so many novels.

Just keeps getting better and better

This one was action packed and I love every minute of it. Progression of the story is great and I’m glad of the way this book ended and it was a really interesting somewhat of a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to seeing what information the main character will share and how much the other characters know. well done.

need more books recorded

why the hold up? there's like 20 sumthing books out and only a handful of audiobooks made? top notch narrators and a busy body author... what's the hold up audible?

agreements and corrections

I agree with other comments that the flash backs are annoying and I'm not sure if the MC is supposed to be an idiot the author is or just thinks his readers are but it's one of those. And it seems to me the first 13 minutes or so of chapter 13 continue properly from chapter 12 then chapter 13,14 and 15 jump all around

Very good book and good story building.. only issue was halfway through chapter 13 it seems that a good chunk of the story was missed??

Tragedy Still Happens

The tragedy foretold from the first version of history comes to pass again this time. It may be less severe, but there was still an important death that seems like the author could have believably had avoided. It almost felt like the author included a Chekhov Gun that wasn’t utilized when he described some alchemy done early in the book.

Caught up

This book basically catches up the new timeline to where the old one began as a story. Now the next book will be all new territory for Eryk.

Let down at the end.

I think I’m done with this series. The flashbacks are annoying and the MC is supposed to be reincarnated after a long life with all sorts of knowledge but can’t figure out the simplest things before getting slapped in the face with it. The voice used for him makes everything worse.
