Not a HEA..

the whole thing was just tragic. I didn't care for the heroin, she was just simple minded and I just didn't really care about what happened to her. She was weak and let people use her.
The ending does not fit into what people consider a H EA by no means.
yes she gets Jake but that was expected way bedore the end so no surprise there . No spoilers but if you decide to purchase the audible you will understand what I mean by no means is the end a H EA.
Rose and Black make frequent cameos so that is a plus.
I just didn't care for Jake's story very much. Maybe if the heroin was less pathetic I would have liked the book more. She wasn't a good fit for Jake.
The narration was ok. I didn't care for the female version of Jake but other than that narration was okay.

T.L. Smith fulfilled my dark romance fix with “White.” Yes, she is one of the writers I often seem to stalk!! I fell hard for this series with Black! That was the first book I read by Author T.L. Smith. I was captivated by these characters from the start! So I had to continue with this series.
White truly showcases T.L. Smith’s growth as a writer. Her ability to a story like White! Which only became a vivid world in which you didn't want to leave! With all that grit, grime and lust. Oh, can I say the heart murmurs it gave me! Then the oh shit I may die at some point or I want to beat a few people after! Hmmm Aww Just brings me a wicked smile to my face!!!

Gotta say, I just finished this trilogy for the second time and holy shit... it was just as much or maybe more exciting and heart stopping the second time around!!!
Makes me wonder why Audible has not put more T L on Audible???

Enjoyable, But a Little Sad

This book in the series tells the story of Black's brother and his woman. It was an excellent end to the series. I do wonder why none of the characters in the series is in prison due to the murders and violent actions of most of the male characters. That being said, I still was fascinated by the storyline. The narrators are just right for the subject matter.

wonderful follow up.

one must read books 1 and 2 for this one to make any sense. It was hard to put down. Black and Jake are 2 of the best men to their women but, most would only see them as criminals or society rejects. their women though on the other hand are just ordinary working girls trying to live by the law. I was glad to see Jake got a happy ending as well.

Dark and beautiful in one

This series sucked me in so quickly, that I've finished three books in 3 days. Yup, I love these dark men and even in the dangerous world they live in, they find love and they love fiercely. This book let Black step back as a secondary character so we could get to know his one any only person he calls his brother. Learning about the things that have happened to Jake and the things he has lived through hurt my heart, but they make him who he is now. I'm not sure I loved the end, it was bittersweet, but this is a dark romance it's not always supposed to work out perfectly.

The best one was Black

I wanted to love Jake's story but it just never materialize. I kept hoping it would end soon. Black was great. Jake is a good character. The story just didn't have a good flow. It was flat and boring. there were some shocking parts to listen to but even that didn't lend to a better story or even chapter. I would just read Black and move on with life like I debated if I had it to do again. it was a real waste of 2 credits reading Red and White.
