Great story, bad narrator
Great, other than the narrator who can't pronounce most "L" sounds, among other speech issues. Kind of annoying when a book about a winter apocalypse, and you have to hear her say the world "cold" as "code" a thousand times. Nothing wrong with having a speech impediment, but don't narrate good books that people have to pay for.

Missed the mark
When I started listening to this book, the characters where the most annoying part. By the time I was near the end of the book, the narrator took the cake for the most annoying part of the experience. Her slow cadence and permanently monotone voice had me skipping multiple chapters just so that I could see how it ended. Not that I really cared. I felt no emotional ties to any of them. I believe that I will take a break from Jacqueline Drugas books for a little bit. This is becoming a common theme.

Pretty good
This was a pretty good story and the narrator was fine, though she reads slowly. Her enunciation was perfect. Maybe a little too perfect? I had to speed up the narration, which made this title feel shorter than it was, other than that, this was a decent listen.

Not Ms. Drugas' best work
This story was Less about the weather anomaly, and More about a family separated trying to get back to each other. The mom makes it hard to sympathize with her as she makes dumb choices, and acts on emotions and not common sense! LIKE, you have Kids! FIGURE. IT. OUT
