First Audible, so good! 😃

I work at a warehouse 4 days a week 10 hour shifts. I’ve always wanted to get into audio books because it would be another way for me to make the shifts go by faster. I usually listen to podcasts or music on my headphones. I’m glad I chose this book to introduce me to the audible world. It was very inspiring and hopeful. Reading about the struggles these two celebs went through was comforting because it showed me that even the financially blessed go through hardships. It made me realize even more that everyone faces difficult trails in life that they must face and concur. I feel like I really connected with Lex and Los in a deeper level and got to know them more personally. This book showed me that no matter where you are in life god is good and has a plan for you. He is not ill-fated even though it may seem like it when things in life come crashing down. He only wants to show you that if you lean on him during those tough times he will make things right. Overall the book was great but if I could offer a bit of constructive criticism I do wish some parts of the book dived into more detail or more of an explanation in certain scenes. (SPOILER 🚨) For example I was curious why Lex suddenly kissed Los for the first time at his home in the movie room. I wanted to know why she suddenly did that after playing hard to get and rejecting him of his advances for weeks. Also, what happened when Alexa told Carlos she had an eating disorder. This was left out completely and I wished to hear what Los had said. There where other things too but I can understand if the authors chose not to divulge too much into those memories. Anyways, I’ve been following lex and los since the time they lived in Cali at leaking house #2 and I love them dearly. They are such a perfect example of a loving Christian family. They make me want to be a better follower of Christ each day. As well as continue to fight for my marriage since my husband isn’t saved but I’m praying and giving it to god. I hope that one day I can see him get saved. Lex and Los if you are reading this please pray for my marriage to become a godly one. Thank you for sharing your testimonies with us ❤️

Refreshing, Honest & Needed in this world

This was a refreshing read that brings light to both faith and marriage. in a world where everything is dark and crazy this is bright light in the darkness. I’m so thankful for their honesty, openness, kindness, respect and true joy and love that they show to each other and those around them. It would be an honour to meet them someday.

Testimony

I have heard bits a pieces of Lex and Los’s testimonies but this was the real deal with details you’d never have thought they’d divulge. I loved hearing all the struggles they’ve gone through so far and how God has matured their faith and brought them closer to Him and to each other. In my current season I really appreciate hearing how they have overcome struggling by putting God first and each other to follow. This couple is such a breath of fresh air for young and whatever-age-we-are adults that need to see that God is real and still moves in the world today. Thank you, Lex and Los, for sharing your stories and allowing God to use you for His Kingdom. Mahalo, from a fellow Maui friend.

Amazing book I highly recommend for anyone single or married or looking to be married. I love that the authors read this book for audible, I couldn’t stop listening, it was so good!!! This book gave me great wisdom on getting closer with God and even parenting tips!!

Points to Jesus

This audiobook was a whim purchase. While some chapters and issues these two discussed were more relatable, compelling, or powerful than others, they do one thing very well… point themselves and their readers back to Christ and His love. I was most moved and inspired by Alexa’s story and her faith. The audiobook aspect was very fun as both authors are engaging storytellers.

Simple Yet Powerful!

This book is an easy listen because it’s performed by the authors. As somebody who has followed this adorable couple for years, it’s nice to be able to get another glimpse into their lives.

I see a parenting book in their future for sure! Keep up God’s work! You’re meant for this!

If you are a follower then this book is a must! You will grow in faith, life, relationships and self while listening to Carlos and Alexa explain how God's presence has moved in their lives.

SO GOOD!

I grew up watching these two actors! I was so happy when they ended up marrying each other. Their story is so encouraging and hearing them narrate each chapter made it sound like they were sharing their testimonies personally over coffee with you! Read it!! They share the highs and lows of their marriage, faith and personal struggles.

Love

I have followed the story of their life and love of God for quite a while, begining on YouTube. It's so nice to see a young "famous" couple not being ashamed of who they are and the love they have for Christ. Loved the book and absolutely recommend! -Jessica Bartram
