Well read, thoroughly research, lots of fun. I’m making my kids listen to it since we cover a lot of the territory on our road trips in the summer.

This was a good book full of information in history I wish there were more audible history books like this.

False Description

I hoped to learn more about the Pony Express, but the story takes many side detours through history. We learn about western expansion, the Colt revolver, and Indian history. I would describe the Pony Express history as minimal.

Great book history, especially local history.

I really like the local history aspect of this book. The way the author tries to separate factual history from legend. Great book for history buffs.

Excellent writing, fascinating story, incredibly good narration and brings together a wide variety of historical events and characters in a unique way. Highly recommend it. In the top ten of my 150+ audible reads to date.
