Separated from her mother, Zelia must escape the doomed world, her only hope is a scrambled transmission promising safety at a mysterious place known only as the Emperor’s Seat. Launched in an escape pod, she crashes on an icy wasteland far from home. But Zelia is not alone. She is joined by a rag-tag group of survivors – the street-tough juve Talen, gadget-obsessed Martian boy Mekki, and super-intelligent alien-ape, Fleapit.

A strange plague spreads, infecting technology and unleashing a host of gribbly monsters – the Nurglings!

The Emperor approves

I get that this is a more sanitized version of Warhammer for kids but it's still fun. Other than the Orks being a little too goofy, every other representation is pretty accurate and interesting. Also the series doesn't shy away from using death to push the story forward. For something a little different. Give it a shot.

It’s was a read adventure listening to this series! David does an amazing job making the characters come to life

A fun read and great way to introduce people to the Warhammer in a much less Grimdark way.

40k for kids and young at heart.
