I wish Aiden had more chapters but I still enjoyed. I will move on to next book evrn though its 13 hours which is LONG.

Edge of your seat anticipation

Loved it!! This storyline was great for an arranged marriage in the mafia world. Bianca was tough when she needed to be. Ballsy even. Her parents were unsavory characters 🙄 Vincent tried to be tough in the beginning, I honestly didn't think he had the ability to love. But he came around and rose to the occasion. The side characters proved to be interesting, especially Trixie. I never saw that coming. Nor did I see Gabbi's story unfolding. All in all it was definitely worth a credit and I can't wait for book two to come out!

Captured By the Story

To start off, this is my first book by Haley Jenner, and I am happy to say it won't be my last. I really enjoyed this book, and the audio was amazing.
I picked this one up because I wanted to read the second book of the series and didn't want to miss out on some of the story. So I had to give this one a go beforehand. I am glad that I did. I always feel like you get more when you read the series in order, even if they are standalone.

Aiden Snow and Desiree Ketchum do phenomenal with this one. I was hooked by Aiden's deep voice and the way he can command an audience with the gruffness that exudes confidence. And it was perfect for this book! Desiree is always a joy to listen to. She has a voice that pulls you in and keeps you entertained through the entire story.

I am jumping right into the next book!!

it was good

it was good but...if you are expecting of listening to Aiden Snow, he is only in 2 chapters.
if Aiden was Vincent throughout the book, it would have been perfect.

hoping book 2 and 3 is a duet narration.
if not, I will pass on audiobooks.

• Thoughts:
This was my first Harley Jenner book, and I will definitely be reading more. I enjoyed the story, the characters, and the world that was created. I was hooked, and the story held my attention from start to finish. Can't wait to dive into book 2.

Narrator Thoughts:
Thos was Dual Narration, and Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow are the narrators. They, of course, were amazing narrators! Zero complaints. What made it lose a rating was it was Mai ly Desiree narrating. Now I am not complaining. I love her, but one small chapter ND the epilogue for Aidens part??? I feel that when this happens, it should just say with a cameo by. So I felt it was not dual. It should have been First Person POV.
