interesting story
I enjoyed hearing this story. As for the dialogue it has a very Wizard of Oz feeling to it. The narrator did well with the inflections.

Live or Die!
I really enjoyed this audio. I love anything that has to do with zombies and I often feel like since The Walking Dead became a TV show that author's tend to not show appreciation where it's due. As I listened to author Chrissy Peebles take on zombies I was thrilled to hear The Walking Dead in her story. That showed me that she appreciates the author's who wrote that series. I really loved this story and I can't wait to learn what happens to Cal, if she lives, if she finds Sammie, Kyle, and gets back to her family. I probably didn't spell the names right, that's the one downside to audiobooks but it doesn't bother me. This is another amazing series that is a must have to add to your collection.
Narrator, Marian Hussey did an amazing job of her telling of the first story to this series. She had me glued to my seat from start to finish. I think she did a great job with distinguishing accents and voices of each character. A perfect performance and a story written to perfection. Overall, another 5 star rating!

This book is like the Zombie Chronicles first 3 books I could not finish the book due to the poor narration and Sammy. Wish I had not even started it. If you can handle a whiny female child you love it.

Roots adventure!
We are presented with the prequel to The Zombie Chronicles series. Contained within is the background for character Val that was missing from the series. We discover how she was bitten, share her excitement as she meets her biological parents for the first time, meet the characters on her journey, and share her terror through numerous encounters on her way to presumed safety in Ohio. It’s a great story and Val is one tough character. The last few chapters are a roller coaster of emotions and should not be missed if you are a fan of the series. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great Prequel!
This is the first of book of the series and it is fantastic! It a well written and entertaining storyline. I found this story to have action, intrigue,adventure, suspense and a little romance.
The narrator does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters.

Absolutely fantastic!!!!
The author does a great job transporting you to this world! The characters are strong and very human. The narrator brings the story even further into your reality with a wonderful storytelling approach!
