Witty Romance with a Heartbreaking Past

This is a cute story of a man doing what he can to help the woman he wants heal from a heartbreaking past. It is full of witty sexual innuendos that range from "Fall off your chair" funny to "fan yourself" hot. It was nice to read a witty love story where someone with such a tragic past is still able to have a sense of humor and find love.

The audio book narration was great! Meghan does a great job voicing all of the characters. Her male POV may be one of my favorites done by a woman!

Great listen

Starts out fun and cute but gains depth! A relatable heroine for anyone who has ever felt unworthy. Great read!

The story and the narrator was an surprising and delightful listen. Couldn’t stop listening to this book. It’s a must listen to book.

This was an incredible book I really enjoyed listening to it. It was a roller coaster of emotions and had me hooked to hear what happened next, this was my first book of Megan Kelly and wont be my last!!! I recommend as a must read!! Thank you for the awesome book Audiobook Obsession Review group!

Ember has walls up due to her tragic past. Colton breaks down her walls thru sarcasm and teasing. Taking time slowly , Ember thinks she's not good enough for him.. This story talks about sexual abuse, drug abuse, and their after effects on family.

Great Performance!!

Meghan Kelly's narration portrayed every emotion to perfection, which makes of this story a whole different experience than the one you may have when reading the book, exactly what happend to me.

The story turns out to be a bit dark at times and while in the description Ember is portrayed as strong and in charge, someone that takes no B.S. from anyone, sadly she's quite the opposite. However, listening to Meghan Kelly I had the chance to understand Ember's struggles.

The performance is deserving of 5 Shining Stars.

A Wonderful Romance

A lovely and emotional journey, this is a very solid story. I was frustrated at times, but there is always heart at the core. There is wonderful narration, and it's great to get to know the characters.

Unmatchable

Another amazing book narration by Meghan Kelly. The story itself is great, but the narration brought it to life wonderfully. I can’t wait to look into more books written by Sky Corgan as well.

Ember starts out as a quick thinking, smart mouthed, secure in her job, woman. She gives undesirable matchmaking candidates the boot... someone has to do it! She gets the surprise of her life when the arrogant Alfred turns out to be her new CEO, undercover. Colton knows who to fire first, that testy beast Ember. He decides to continue researching his newest gain differently, by signing up for an online dating service. He’s soon captivated by none other than Ember as she handles his sexy talk with the ease of a pro. He thinks he’s undercover. She knows the truth.

Meghan Kelly is excellent as Ember and consistently male sounding with Colton BUT this is a dual point of view book, having chapters switch between Ember and Colton. Meghan should have had a talented male co-narrator to work with.

Two Thumbs Up. Very Entertaining!

This was a good listen. Their were fun moments and dark intense one that made the story interesting.
