Acerca de esta escucha

I should have known I’d break the oath I made when I offered to let my best friend’s little sister move in with me…

She’s the sweetest woman on the face of the planet.

And to my great misfortune, the sexiest one, too.

She’s been living under her brother’s roof her entire life, and she’s ready to spread her wings.

And I’m the masochist who offers she stay at my place until she can find an apartment.

When I hear her having a nightmare, the only thing I can do is go to her. Hold her so she knows she’s safe from her demons.

The second she’s in my arms, the attraction I’ve tried to hide sparks to life. I know better than to push past the boundaries I’ve set for us, but when she begs me to touch her in a way she’s never been touched, I can’t resist.

And with my name on her lips as I send her soaring for the first time, I know there’s no going back.

I’m willing to break every rule and oath I’ve ever made to keep her.

Accept every consequence.

Only she and I have a dark, dangerous history that no one knows about.

And I’m afraid the consequences of loving her have just caught up to us…

Emotional

This was an intense and incredibly emotional story.
Otto & Raven have both suffered through the same trágedy but from different perspectives, they both have great & pain from their loss.
Otto has always been there for Raven, keeping her Sage, and bringing her peace.
The absolute love & chemistry between these two is intense & beautiful.
This age gap, brothers best friend, forced proximity, romance was so intense & beautiful. I love the relationship between them, how Otto tried so hard to resist, but couldn’t. He was head over heels for her, protecting her, giving her peace & loving her fully.

A. L. Jackson has done it again!

Under an Endless Moon is full of dark twists and turns, deep devotion, and intense sexual chemistry.  Raven and Otto have been in each other’s lives for years.  As her older brother’s friend, he had watched over her when she was a child.  Now she’s grown into a strong, independent woman in spite of the trauma she’d experienced and neither of them can continue denying the attraction growing between them.  But can Otto protect her from the danger that’s hunting her and the darkness that drives him to seek revenge?

Desiree Ketchum’s performance was so good not only with Raven’s many layers throughout the timeline, but as all the guys.  Her man voice is spot on!  Connor Crais sank deep into Otto’s persona to give the perfect “burly bear” vibe to his performance.

With that bomb dropped at the end of the epilogue I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Book & Audio Review

The book masterfully balances a dual timeline, weaving Raven and Otto’s past and present into a compelling narrative. Their friends to lovers story, filled with tension and growth, resonates deeply, and the pacing keeps you hooked as past secrets unfold.

The audiobook was absolutely amazing! Desireé Ketchum and Conner Crais were phenomenal. They captured Otto and Raven so perfectly the angst, the love, and the drama!

This audio was amazing and the storyline was unputdownable!!! Another favorite for 2025!!

A.L. Jackson has done it again! She has created characters that I love with all of my heart. I was so excited to dive into Under an Endless Moon this time following Raven Tayte and Otto Hudson as they navigate being best friends while pretending not to have real feelings for one another.

Tropes we love to love:
•Brother’s Best Friend
•Roommates to Loves
•Morally Gray Hero
•Age Gap
•Touch Her and 💀
•It’s Always Been You
•Secret Society
•Romantic Suspense
•Small Town
•No Cheating
•No Third Act Breakup
•HEA

The way A.L. Jackson writes makes you believe that these towns are real. I loved Under an Endless Moon, couldn’t stop reading/listening to this story. The narrators did a fantastic job at bringing these characters to life. Connor Crais remains to be one of my favorite male narrators and Desiree Ketchum is slowly becoming a favorite with each book I listen to.

Raven Tayte knows she needs to spread her wings and fly out on her own after her brother finds the love of his life. And she’s happy for him, she also knows what her brother and the rest of their friends do is dangerous and so she finds herself living with Otto Hudson. Her brothers best friend, her favorite person, the man she can’t stop thinking about no matter how much she tries.

Otto Hudson knows he can’t offer Raven more than friendship, knows she deserves better. So he’s bottled his feelings up, shoving them down until he offers to have Raven live with him while she’s looking for a new place to live and those feelings can no longer be ignored.

There was so much of this book I loved, the tension, the pining from both sides, the fact he takes her nightmares away.

Please pick this book up! You won’t regret it!! Highly recommend the audio!

Beautiful story with amazing narration!

Another beautiful and emotional love story from AL Jackson. I adore her writing and know I’m always going to love the characters, story and have all the feels when I read/listen to one of her books.

The tropes in this book are some of my favorites - opposites attract, age gap, BBF and forbidden.

Otto and Raven will set your kindle/ear buds on fire! Love their chemistry, dialogue, banter and protectiveness for one another.

Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum deliver a phenomenal performance. Connor Crais could read the phone book to me…one of my favorite narrators. He gives the characters perfect emotion, voice and personality. Desiree gives Raven a strong, determined yet vulnerable voice filled with emotion.

A magnificent story with amazing narration!

Poetically Beautiful

Under an Endless Moon was edgy, broody, traumatic and poetically beautiful in all its darkness. Gosh, Raven and Otto made my heart ache for their pasts and how it seemed like that trauma came back to haunt them at every turn. Otto feels responsible for what happened and Raven has to teach him that he's worthy of her love after years of fighting it and together they are perfect. The buildup to their relationship was angsty as hell and that tension kept me hooked and anxious for them to finally act on it. The suspenseful plot keeps the story edgy and interesting and it never lets up all the way to the end adding additional depth to these characters and their story. After the highest highs and lowest lows throughout the story, it made their forever so much sweeter.

The audiobook was voiced by Desiree Ketchum and Connor Crais who were perfect together. Their voices executed the edgy, gritty vibe, but also the sweet and gentle part as well. It was a truly beautiful experience.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧Gripping & Emotional!

A.L. Jackson pens another amazing novel, a small town romantic suspense that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. I absolutely loved the first book in the “Moonlit Ridge” series and thought it is going to be hard to top that one, but A.L. Jackson outdid herself with this second book, Otto and Raven’s story and I would like to say this series the series just gets better and better, but that would not be fair to the first book, which was Charleigh and River’s story. Otto is River’s best friend and brother, not by blood but in their found family, and Raven is River’s younger sister. Raven and Otto share a special bond which deepened over the years, and while he saw her as a younger sister when she was younger his feelings morphed into something deeper, but she is untouchable and forbidden to him, not to mention too good for him. Raven is in love with Otto, and as much as she wants to take the next step in their relationship, he won’t cross that line out of respect for her brother. With Raven looking for a place to stay, Otto invited her to stay at his home, which made not crossing the line became that more difficult. There was an undeniable chemistry between them, and they could only deny each other for so long. When someone threatens Raven, Otto and River go into protective mode and try to find out who and why they are targeting her. Hearing Raven’s and Otto’s back stories was gut-wrenching, and my heart went out to them both. Otto and the guys still did their thing for the Sovereign, but he also had something else going on, something dangerous, something he kept secret, and he was not the only one who had secrets. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with a perfect balance of drama, angst, mystery, thrilling suspense, a twist I never saw coming, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. As always, Jackson’s writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. A.L. Jackson, thank you for another outstanding story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum deliver an amazing performance, bringing the characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting for a perfect portrayal of each. I loved how they took each role and made it their own sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Connor Crais nailed it as Otto, grasping every aspect of his personality and demeanor, from his battles with his inner demons to good heartedness and protective self. Desireé Ketchum was just as fabulous in Raven’s role, also grasping every aspect of her personality, from her fierceness to her longing and determination. Both were fantastic performing the roles as the side/secondary characters, too. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a performance that elevates the story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Love the Found Family!

4.5 ⭐️ Otto and Raven wanted each other for 7 years but her brother and the violence of their world kept them apart. She moved in with him after walking in on her brother (Raven) and his woman having sexy times. Raven wanted more independence from her brother. Otto felt like he couldn’t have her because of his “brotherhood” relationship with River, but neither could stop the longing and love that they felt for each other. They snuck around until River uncomfortably learned of their relationship. There were villains from their shared past that threatened them, and they needed protect each other with the help of their family to survive.

The story is told in past/present with the past chapters told in 3rd person and present told in 1st person with dual POVs. The suspense plot was good, and was plotted well. I enjoyed that Otto and Raven were morally gray characters, willing to do whatever they needed to do to save each other, themselves, and their family. Their secret society that Otto and River belongs to feels more a family. Their romance was passionate and the sneaking around was entertaining. River reacted as I expected, but I did like how quickly he got over it for the betterment of his sister and their found family.
