I’ve always been fascinated by the Biblical account of Rahab. She was a foreign harlot who became a devout woman of God’s chosen people and one of the few women mentioned in the lineage of Jesus. This novel is true to the Bible while adding possible thoughts and emotions of the characters.

Yes I would certainly recommend this book. If you don't know the bible and want to get an idea of the life of this woman, get the book, and if you do know the story of Ruth , this will give you a new light.

Yes , Barbara Rosenblat is now my favorite narrator. Her femele/male voice in so perfect, you know who is speaking.

Agape’ Love
Nice reenactment of a bible story. This shows the redemptive love of God and the divine purpose of God. I look forward to reading more of Francine Rivers.
