another great book

I have really enjoyed this book. Great book #2 love the progression of plot

another awesome addition to the series.

this was definitely a wonderful read. I hope that the next book in the series doesn't take too long to drop, because I don't think I can wait for the next one. soundproof theater did just as awesome as they usually do on game light novels. overall I'll give it a nine point 5 out of 10. I hope that you guys find this review honest. if you do, please hit the helpful button down below.

A great story

I am really loving this series so far and will be looking forward to the next as soon as it comes out.

Good second installment

I can suspend my belief pretty well.. I mean, I'm listening to a book about people living in VR with dragons. With that being said there are still things in this book that make you scratch your head and say "wtf". Kinda lazy plot pushers sprinkled in to drive the story in a certain direction. BUT, even with those few offputting moments the story is engaging and keeps you mostly interested. I'll pick up the next book at some point.

Great story and Narration

The story continues right where it left off in Book 1 and just keeps getting better. The Narration is also superb, not only are the 2 narrators Justin Thomas James, Jeff Hays, and Laurie Catherine Winkel fantastic, but the music, sound effects, and sound editing increase the listening experience significantly. When Fights start and the battle music begins it definitely reminds me of the 1000s of video game boss battles I have experienced myself and it really gets the blood pumping!

Homophobic Undertones

I'm enjoying the story and the characters, but I keep encountering homophobic Undertones. Ive tried to look past it, but I felt like it was a major plot point in this book. It's not uncommon in the RPGLit genre, but I'm still always surprised by it and disappointed.

Continuation of the great story

This was a great continuation of the first book. The main character doesn’t rank up and become over powered or anything. I enjoyed listening to it along with the great narration that brought all the characters to life.

Amazing from start to finish!

By far the best LitRPG book I've ever read. The performance is amazing, it truly draws you into the characters. Another amazing book by Baldwin. Can't wait to read the next one!

This was the perfect blend of Sci-fi and fantasy performed in best way to provide the best imaginative experience an audiobook listener could ask for. good job.

Fun series

So far this has been a great series to jump into. Keep them coming and I will enjoy the hell out of them.
