All together it was an excellent continuation of the series. I hope more follows soon.

Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Writing is top notch, you cheer for the characters, the plot is suspenseful. I recommend 1000%!!!!

Worst in series

This book seemed a bit dumbed down compared to the first four. I didn’t enjoy it as much because of this. I enjoyed the deeper tactical jargon from the previous books.

The best submarine type books plus more says former submariner.

I served six years on nuclear submarines. These books including this one by Cdr. Campbell bring exciting yarns that involve submarine warfare action to life.
He writes in Way that I can create my own thoughts and visions of who the characters are.
So good. I listen on Audible and as a runner was able to get longer runs in to get more book. Hard to put down. Treason was super and I was trying to figure it out but various twists left me hanging until the author pulled it all together.
I want movies of this!
I was saddened that Christine was only referenced to “college” and not my beloved Penn State as she was in prior books.

Rick is one of a group of writers who not only tell a story
And with the very thoughtful choice of these words help encourage my mind. To actually help me feel that I am right in the middle of the action (sorry for.the run on sentence and some weird punctuation.
I am blind and ricks abilities put this book over the top! For those of us who remember those bygone days of old time radio you are in for a real treat when you READ this audiobook!!!

Headphone batteries not included

I had purchased an excellent and expensive pair of Bluetooth headphones several years ago and in doing so... muttering to myself “WTH am I doing”?

If you are just now finding this book and are reading the reviews to decide if you should or will enjoy TREASON...... STOP!!! STOP RIGHT NOW !

You need to go to the first book in this series... “THE TRIDENT DECEPTION” ... START THERE .... and charge the battery in your headphones, get your snacks and drink ready because you won’t stop listening until the batteries go dry.

Great action story

Exciting action, engaging characters, excellent narration and clean audio recording.

Overall a very enjoyable listen in a great action series.

Fantastic Story!

Rick Campbell really did it this time. A great plot with my favorite characters getting into trouble as usual. Christine got into a situation that was very unique. The whole story was captivating and totally possible. I hope we never come that close to this situation in real life, but…

Another captivating book in an exciting series

Once again, Rick Campbell tells a great story. Just when you think you know what’s going to happen next, the plot takes another unexpected turn. Of course, as in any thriller, much of what happens is beyond the scope of reality—we hope!
