Tomkin Thornhewn, youngest son of the Duke of Marshwell, has a problem: He’s not heroic.

wonderful
absolutely loved it. favorite in the series only wish it was longer or there were more of these stories by the keepers. I was worried if would not hold up to all the hype since it's named as the most requested or favorite story multiple times in the keeps chronicles but it did not disappoint.

I always wondered about Tonkin and the Dragon after reading the Chronicles. This was a delightful story that I really enjoyed.

Not thrilled with narration, but enjoyed the story

the story from the story

Tomkin and the Dragon is a story that is referenced multiple times throughout J.A. Andrews Keeper Chronicles. This is the definitive version of that story.
I have to say I did not expect a novel based on a reference in another novel to as interesting as it was. Clearly there is a reason this is the most requested story in Queensland.
Tomkin is an intelligent and impulsive hero who is actually good at solving his problems with diplomacy over force. I love how resourceful he is and really wish more fantasy stories emphasise this kind of bravery more.
The narrator is the same as the one who narrated three books in The Keeper Chronicles. He does a great job and I love that Keeper Will is instantly recognizable as the same character by voice alone.
