Love Love Love!

I absolutely loved this book! it was the most cutest and sweet interpretation of enemy's to lovers. The story was easy to follow and I found it a little too easy to get lost in the characters. The attention to detail throughout the story was great. I felt like by the end of the book there was nothing lost on me and the only question I had was what happened to them after the book. It reminded me why I loved romance novels. This book is a must read! You won't regret it!

I loved it

I really liked this book because of the character development and because I love the classic enemies to lovers trope.

Sweet but predictable

Not bad definitely a quick lesson. I really like the back and forth between the two characters and I would have wished there would have been an epilogue to know what happens to them after graduation.

Romantic and nostalgic

I’ve always been a fan or Rachel Lynn after I’ve read her second book, Our Year of Maybe. The world is so dark right now and if you want a feel-good, romantic love story, with the usual rivals-turned-lovers trope, I highly recommend this book. It’s a love letter to Seattle and a love letter to love.

CUTE

The cuteness is too real with this one!! it made me remember why I love romance novels so much.

Perfection

This story was INSANELY cute! I’m already a sucker for rivals to lovers, especially when they’re forced to team up, and the fact it happened over the course of a day along with a really cool scavenger hunt was *chef’s kiss*. The author did a fantastic job of setting this romance/relationship up, with crackling tension from the very beginning. Both characters feel well-rounded and realistic, and they embody those epic, anxious stakes that come with graduating high school and facing the person you’re about to become and the person you used to be. I could read/listen to this ten more times in a row and not be bored.

A lot younger read

I just couldn't get into the plot or the characters but it was quite well-written. This type of format of writing wasn't my cup of tea. I agree one of the reveiwers, "Honestly would've loved to see this in a dual POV with both Neil and Rowan, I think it would've built the tension a bit more." Overall, it did have potential to become more. It is a good read for someone, well, a lot younger. Eck.

Sweet enough

While the narrator has a maddening tendency to go dead-voiced and extra clear like that TikTok voiceover, if you can struggle beyond that, it’s a decent enough listen. A little heavy on the constant circling back to “high school is over, how will I deal,” repetition. I’m not sure the book lives up to the blurb or if it was worth a credit, but it’s certainly… fine.

The tension kept me on my toes and I never lost interest

I love this book if I could forget it and re read it I would so do that!!!
