Another great read
I truly love reading the works of Ms. Beverly Jenkins. The historical interludes and the entertaining stories bring me a lot of joy. I would have never guessed I would be hooked on reading chickit, romance novels but as I live and breathe I’m reading one after the other. Thank you Ms. Jenkins !

What made the experience of listening to Through the Storm the most enjoyable?
The breakdown of the historical events around that time...A twist of Gone With The Wind's from a slaves perspective.

Great story, very romantic, I shed a few tears, I'm glad Ramon stayed faithful to his wife...Slavery was broken down with real life events. Gives you a great insight of history during the civil war.
