This book is fantastic! Gripping, suspenseful with some very hilarious dialogue - so good! A must listen!

If John Wick were quick witted

Richly described characters, packed with action, gratuitously violent, and featuring surprising turns. You read the book and can instantly see it as a movie. Imagine if John Wick had a biting sense of sarcasm and didn't have an "off" button. That's the main character.

The audio book was wonderfully performed, with voices and accents. Definitely helped the book come to life.

A very entertaining read / listen!

Fun, escapist suspense in every chapter

The characters are well-developed, and the plot kept me hooked until the very end. The pacing is spot-on, with just the right balance of action and humor. If you’re into thrillers with depth and a modern edge, this one is worth your time.

Great LA-based Crime/Comedy

I don’t want to give too much away but I thought this was a very fun listen. I loved the LA setting, the witty banter between the characters, and the twists.

Corrupt cops, ruthless mobsters, dangerous henchmen, murders, killings, perverts, spoiled kids, guns, knives, swords, grenades twists, turns, dark humor, brilliant writing, and a lot of pop fiction references combine in Three Graves in order to assure the highest level of satisfaction for the reader.

Director, producer, musician and award-winning actor Maxwell Hamilton delivers a superb performance for Three Graves. He sets a breakneck pace throughout this insane adventure, never missing a bit, always infusing the action with just the right amount of urgency and drama. His voices are spot on and help the listener easily differentiate between the characters. Speaking about the characters, you will find here some of the most colorful and memorable in recent memory. This narrator is the perfect choice for such a bloody good audiobook.

Quentin Tarantino fans will find Three Graves viscerally entertaining! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves over-the-top stories, flawed characters, and crazy situations. I really hope to see Zack Kaplan releasing more books and I hope that he will stick with this amazing narrator, as well. Also, I’d say that Three Graves would look great, by the way, as a movie!

A fast paced, hard hitting and hilarious thriller

Three Graves is a fun and fast read with a hilariously dark sense of humor and a great cast of characters. It's a highly engaging blend of modern crime thrillers and classic noir.

Fair warning it's not for the faint of heart.

From crooked cops and philosophical waxing drug lords to vapid actors and all the poor saps caught in the middle, Zack Kaplan weaves a dark and twisted revenge tale with just the right dose of biting LA commentary. It'll keep you hooked as all the many pieces of the puzzle come together and have you chuckling throughout.

Maxwell Hamilton also does a tremendous job of narrating, giving each character their own personality and quirks while absolutely nailing both the intensity and comedy of the story.

Highly recommend it!

The narration by Maxwell Hamilton is fantastic. This is a book chalked full of unique characters and managed to give each character a unique feel. Making it easy to keep up with. He consistently conveyed their emotions.


Editing, quality, and production were on par with most books I have listened to. It was clear, with no issue with sound or quality.

Tarantino, Rodriguez, a little Rob Zombie . I can see this on the big screen- please! Ryan Reynolds witty too. The twist was perfection.
