Historically Accurate

I love a good story wrapped in history. This book puts flesh and bones on historical facts that bring the listener into the adventures of everyday life in another time and place. The narrator did a wonderful job with all characters. If you like intergenerational adventure, faith, and clean romance, this book checks all the boxes

Wonderful, sweet story.

I loved listening to this sweet story about a woman and her family's story about her journey across the country. it was about so much more than the physical journey. It was just as much about her spiritual journey of love and learning about herself as it was a physical one. I would definitely recommend this book.

Really great story. I really loved all the characters and it is based on a true historical figure.

I love her books. Have not listened to a bad one yet. She writes beautifully, and she keeps the readers wanting more

The history of the move west

Enjoyed the story’s of the orphans and the hard choices of the family’s and the wives fear. Made it real

Enjoyable storyline

It was an engaging story, interesting characters, historical timeframe and setting. Nothing overly memorable. Sweet characters, just not a very deep plot.

I ffound this read while looking for a book my mother-in-law, husband and myself could all enjoy. it was great for our trip from California to Missouri and back. Enjoyed the story.

it started pretty slow, but I stuck with it and it ended with a little more excitement
