Kennedy’s writing is amazing!

This Is Us felt like a book that I needed to read a couple years ago when I was in a figuring myself out after being a mom for a few years. I went into motherhood as a single mom so life has always been a different walk for me. Did I imagine that being the way I’d experience first time motherhood? Absolutely not. But there I was.

This book is a message to mothers that it’s ok to put yourself first while also prioritizing our children. It was such an ode to sisterhood outside of familial relationships.

The romance isn’t the typical “spice” we sometimes read in urban fiction, it was the perfect amount of spice for the plot and character development🥹 it just felt like a relatable read for me and I’d read it again over and over👏🏾

Soledad Hermosa 🥰🥰

I loved the story! I’m so happy Soledad got her own story and found true authentic love. Loving yourself first is something we all forget when navigating family relationships and life’s ups and downs. It was wonderful to see her growth and how much her and Judah were willing to wait for the other to be ready. 5 out of 5 stars!

She does it again!

Such an amazing book! I loved the storyline and the ways we’re still connected to Yaz, Josiah, and Hen. I wished they’d use a different voice actor for Judah, but other than that, five stars!

Did not disappoint. Such a sucker for Love. First book was amazing and so was this one. Can’t wait till the third book.

Informative

This Could Be Us had me hooked from the beginning. The characters that really drew me in weren't Soledad and Judah. While I enjoyed seeing there journey, it was Adam and Aaron who stole the show for me. I really appreciated the author taking time to show some of the different aspects of autism and some of the challenges those that are autistic and their families face.

This 2nd book was so worth the wait/the listen…Jakobi #Judah Sol’s self partnering was inspiring, it prompted something in me to give a try..

Life is complicated but the good is worth fighting for
