Good book
I had read the reviews and wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not. The main character is an asshole but the main lady character can hold her own. I was laughing through some of the book and liked the banter.

5 freaking stars!
LJ Shen is a gorgeous genius! The Villain was an absolutely stunning story! It isn't just another run of the mill romance, it's so much more! The depth of the story and the characters in this book is so real and raw! I knew I was ready for the book after reading The Hunter (book 1 in the series), but I had no idea what I was getting into with this book! Shen has given us yet another book boyfriend to swoon after and another strong female lead you didn't know you needed. Seriously, Persephone and Kill are PERFECT! 5/5 stars!

Wow, this book right here had my emotions all over the place. I didn't know if I wanted to hate or love Cillian. That is until I just knew, I was in love with his tortured soul. Percy and Kill make such an amazing couple, they balance each other perfectly. As always LJ Shen absolutely killed it and left me wanting more. I can't wait for the next book.

Enthralling !!!
This was as wonderful as I expected. Witty, deep, a little sad and completely exciting. I really loved Cillian’s character and all of his “extraness”. L.J Shen is beyond talented and Jacob Morgan and Ava Erickson very perfectly casted. I should note that I listen to anything narrated by Jacob Morgan because his narrations are always excellent. Even though I might be slightly biased, the book is a must read.

I liked this book so much more than the first one. Cillian was horrible and Jacob Morgan did a fabulous job making me hate him. I liked that there was depth to the story and not just steam. Definitely worth the credit. 😉

Heart breaking and beautiful!
You will hate and love Cillian from the beginning. Fighting his demons and the women who can bring him to his knees. This is not your everyday love story, it is heart wrenching and full of ups and downs and so much emotion. Persephone is a strong women who takes on the harshness of a man who is fighting her and his own emotions. Cillian and Persephone will keep you wanting more. The narrators bring this story alive and give you all the feels. I recommend this book to anyone who believes in the power of love! L.J. Shen is amazing at making you love the Villain in a story! Must read!!
