why the &_-$ did they get an old man to read this story??? they should have had him read the Lord of the rings. it should have been read by a girl. the story is good but the old man voice really sounds weird in the main character (a girl!!?) perspective. they really need to re-record. I will not be getting the next one of the series.

I tried listening to this, however was not very successful, kept thinking it was like listening to 48 hours crime show. Just couldn’t pull off following what he was saying, but it was great for just something to be playing in the background while I cooked or cleaned house

zero stars😫😫.. I love stories with vampires. I tried 20 different times to see if the story would capture my attention. I was unable to get into it I only lasted maybe about four to five chapters .
