Acerca de esta escucha

After too many years of unfulfilling work, Bronnie Ware began searching for a job with meaning. Despite having no formal qualifications or experience, she found herself working in palliative care. During the time she spent tending to the needs of those who were dying, Bronnie's life was transformed. Later, she wrote a blog post about the most common regrets that the people she had cared for had expressed to her. The post gained so much momentum that it was viewed by more than three million people worldwide in its first year. At the request of many, she now shares her personal story. By applying the lessons of those nearing their death to her own life, Bronnie developed an understanding that it is possible for everyone, if they make conscious choices, to die with peace of mind. The Top Five Regrets of the Dying: A Life Transformed by the Dearly Departing is a delightful memoir and a courageous, life-changing audiobook that will leave you feeling more compassionate and inspired to live the life you are truly here to live.©2012 Bronnie Ware (P)2017 Bolinda Publishing Desarrollo Personal Duelo y Pérdida Espiritualidad Nuevo Pensamiento Éxito Personal Inspirador Sincero

Eye opening and real

This was a very well written book. It is a great combination of the author’s life experiences mixed with the life experiences and regrets of others. I enjoyed listening and I am left with a lot to consider in my own life.

More of an autobiography

While the story was beautifully written, and there are many lessons to be learnt, the title is misleading.
The book is all about Bronnie’s life, and the people she met on her way.
Enjoyable though.

Lessons for the living

This beautifully author-narrated book is about the journey of the author, who, as a palliative care worker, a nature lover and a singer-songwriter, has experienced emotional and spiritual growth through her interactions with her dying clients, other people and even a suicidal self. The key lessons and perspectives for life in general the author describes are applicable not only to those who are about to pass on, but also to ALL of us, for WE ARE ALL DYING in the sense that, every breath we take and every heart beat we make, we are inching closer to our certain death the instance we are born.
I found the book very inspiring, and its theme resonates with Buddha’s teachings in many ways.

Heart warming and awakening. I loved it!

This is the best audible book I've heard, and the best book I've experienced in a long long time. The author's personal narration made this to a truly nice experience. There is so much true wisdom shared in such down to earth language. Certainly no one will regret hearing this narration.

Wow! Moving

As a late 50ish person, this book really hits home. Life is tough for everybody. People in their final stages have incredible insight into life’s challenges.
Their regrets are a tough and sad read. Bronny does a great job weaving their stories into helpful suggestions to not repeat those mistakes. Live each day like it is your last. One day you will be right!

Long book

I found this book informative but it was difficult to listen to at times, sad.

Thoughtful and inspiring

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It is a contemplative kind of reading. I cannot believe one of the reviewers would call the author a narcissist. The author seems like such a thoughtful, gentle and kind human. She shed light for me on the grace and hope we should have in ourselves and others. She is a wonderful, gifted writer in my opinion. I thought this book was so inspiring! I plan to get the hard copy now and pass it on to many friends.
