Ruby and her husband, the political biographer Dexter North, have split their time between Shipwreck Key, NYC, and Christmas Key since they fell in love five years ago, but now they're hiding out on the tropical island, and hoping to lose the tail of a potentially dangerous stalker who won't leave Ruby alone.

As usual, the islanders band together to make magic happen, and they'll do anything they can to keep Ruby safe. But there are things that are out of their control, and sometimes all there is to do is to close ranks, work as a team, and do whatever they can to protect their own little slice of paradise.

Come visit Christmas Key again, and if you're a fan of the "Shipwreck Key" series, then you'll love seeing Dexter and Ruby, and getting a window to the early years of their long and happy marriage.

Sugary Sweet

Virtual voice for me was torture. Just too bland & ruined the story. Could not get into the characters & the kidnapper was just sad in the story. Pie in the sky mayor Holly wants to populate the basically retired island community with families that would own small businesses on the island instead of having resorts that would increase tourist trade & create mor litter on the beaches. Nice if it was feasible. Perhaps if I’d read previous books I would appreciate the tight knit community better, but definitely could not listen to a Virtual Voice book again. Guess I’m a one and done.
