Joseph Murphy invites us to explore depth psychology through the biblical metaphor. He debunks a lot of the traditional misinterpretation and represents biblical story as symbolism and allegory re-presenting to us principles of psycho spirituality and shows how either the violation or failure to acknowledge those principles leads to distress and disease and how the solution to problems lies in reconsidering there source, their effects, and backwards engineering them to transform ignorance into wisdom, fear into confidence, superstition into faith. Faith isn’t about some religious concept, but rather the simple belief that the universe wants to work to support our balance and well being and that our misconception or learned denial of this truth is the source of much trouble that can be remedied by curing the core false beliefs about ourselves as human beings, and about the universe in which we live, move, and have our being.
