What a wonderful series of lectures. To hear Napoleon Hill himself deliver the course is wonderful. His philosophy is sound and he gives the steps to apply it in your own life which is priceless. Pretty cool to listen to Mr. Hill give a live lecture so many years ago. Loved it!

Wonderful but preachy at the end

This is a wonderful philosophy which is easy to understand and follow. However, by the end of it, I felt like the ulterior motive was for him to create disciples for his ‘religion’ whereby he is the god. There were enough self examples that would make him appear as someone might consider Jesus Christ. With this said, nothing he said was disagreeable or offensive or illogical.

modern relevance

It is good to listen to this with the culture of the time in mind. Some of the word choice etc. is dated. The main ideas being conveyed are worth ignoring some of the chosen language. Also, things are said that make it apparent that Mr. Hill is not hateful or interested in holding others down in any way
