Great Summer Read!

I loved this book and wish there was a sequel. Very well written, believable main characters. Heart warming growth of both Harlow & Robin. Highly recommend!

Sweet Summer Read

Great story about a family who learned to have confidence and build strong futures after their struggles. Lillian was sweet and fun of wisdom as she guided her family to find their way. Wonderful summer read!

Good story, terrible narrator

I enjoy this authors books but they alway use this particular narrator. I can’t stand her voice or her tone

Loved it.

A thoroughly wonderful listen. I enjoyed every moment of this book. A grown woman who has finally had enough of everyone in her life acting like spoiled petulant children does the unexpected. She packs up and goes to visit her beloved elderly, brilliant loving aunt. Basically she runs away from her adult children, ex-husband and best friends all of whom constantly expect her to fix everything for them and do their bidding. It’s a winding road to Robyn rediscovering herself, what she wants and taking control of her own destiny. Oh and finally for all those around her to grow up themselves, Truly loved this listen.

Susan Mallery , enjoyable author

While I enjoy Susan Mallery’s writing , the narrator does the book no justice, I even sped up the narration but it didn’t help .

Really enjoy the speaker

I appreciate her voice and am amazed at the different qualities she presents. I also enjoyed the story. While the kids were self-absorbed initially, they learned from their experiences.

lucky woman

I liked this book! I wish I were Robin. she got married young had a cheating husband but in the end she got her prince.

Narration was a bit breathy and annoyingly exaggerated

Overall, a sweet story with some unexpected twists. I had to get past the narrator’s voice that worked too hard to make the villain’s voices annoying. The female main characters were voiced as too sweet.

Loved it

I really enjoyed this book! I highly recommend it. I even laughed out loud a few times.

Not one of Mallory’s best

The story had potential but this seemed more like a book that was thrown together to meet a deadline.
While I don’t mind strong language the use of it in this story leaned more towards crude than her usual.
