Clarence Larkin was an important scholar of prophecy. In The Spirit World", published in 1921, he discusses the inhabitants of the spiritual world according to the Bible. Explaining the qualities of angels, he makes a distinction between the “fallen angels” and Satan’s demons and the realms which they inhabit. Larkin’s treatment of Satan and the Underworld, in the form of hell, Gehenna and Tartarus is thorough and vivid, and he explains issues like the state of the soul in death and the principles of resurrection. In many respects a fascinating work, it ought to appeal not only to Christians but to everybody with an interest in metaphysical matters.

This book has a great narrator! His voice is the best I’ve heard of all the audible books I’ve listened to. I learned a lot of new things, and I really appreciate the fact that they title each section in table of contents. Much appreciation to the narrator, as well as Larkin! I really hope that audible uses this narrator more often for the Christian books!

Things you won’t learn in church. Best book for in depth study regarding sons of God, Satans kingdom. Will make you love God Almighty all the more when you realize just how much more goes on in the spirit realm than we thought. It’s a positive study, brings the light of Jesus to you all the more. Must have book!
