Great Sci-Fi, Great Character and Sense of Place
Sandy and her life in Wyoming were very realistic and interesting. It really puts you there, and makes you care about her story. What comes later is obviously sci-fi but still very believable in its way, and one of the more interesting and character-based stories of this kind that I know of.

Thought provoking, insightful and original. Energetic, natural storytelling that progresses quickly with a satisfying reader. Enjoyed it.
