I really loved the story

I was happily surprised with the story in this book. As always, the author delivered a heartfelt story that people can relate to. I enjoy listening to audiobooks that keep things real and don’t create a fake build up of love. Will definitely keep this author on my romance read list.

I want more

He/She is one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to listen to more of her audiobooks. This book of hers is truly amazing. He/She keeps me wanting more stories from his/her.

So much intence

I thought it was just a horror story but I am wrong. Because it also bout family and relationships. I really admire W.L Brooks for writing this such an amazing story. Hope that you will continue writing more great and lovely stories in the future.

In-depth

An in-depth character description and easy to follow the storyline. This book has an extra little twist toward the end that leaves things open and while I didn't see the need for it, other than to set things up for another book, it was interesting to ponder. There were things I liked to keep me interested. I look forward to reading others by the author.

Will continue to follow the next series

I really liked the endearing love and loyalty demonstrated by the sisters and the family as a whole. The romance between Ryan and Casey was laced with instant attraction and chemistry. I will continue to follow the journey of the McKay sisters.

Cute story

Casey and Ryan make a really cute and compatible couple. Casey had a lot of issues to overcome to accept Ryan's love and give him her love. I love how the McKay's fight but you never doubt that they love each other. This family has a lot of secrets and some are revealed but more exists. There's also a mystery and a bad person to find. I can't wait for the next one.

Y’all know how much I love my @norarobertsauthor, but W.L. Brooks is Nora’s talent with not NEARLY enough recognition!

This is book 2 in her series, and once again I didn’t see what was coming. (And you know how difficult that is to do!) It’s time to find out more about the oldest daughter, Casey, and gain another piece of a puzzle that is turning out to be much bigger than I realized! Yet, I have to force myself to hit pause and use it as my reward for finishing my own edits….🫣

A secret far too big to handle forces Casey to leave behind her beloved hometown and never look back. Well, until private detective, Ryan Keller, is sent to track her down. Unable to resist her or her need for help, it forces both of them into a plan to destroy the McKay sisters for good….Casey must face a longtime forgotten foe and the secrets that shaped her.

The characters are strong and well developed. The story moves quickly and smoothly with all the action and steamy passion. This is a well written book with an intriguing story line. I will really recommend this book with my friends.

Five stars for me

The middle story hold my interest as well. It's a suspenseful, loving and heartfelt! This whole series is never a let down. I would have rated this as five stars.

Awesome novel

Awesome novel! Some time ago I had read the early years of the McKay girls, and the story gripped me, and every once in a while I would remember it. When I started reading this story I realized this was a continuation of that one. If I could give it six stars I would. For the spellbinding mystery the romance and the amazing characters that have now grown up. Anxious to know. What's next for the McKay heathens.
