Now, who was Captain Seashell? And why did a pirate—of all people—build a library? Well, Captain Seashell wasn’t like other pirates. While most of them chased after treasure chests overflowing with coins, Captain Seashell was on a different kind of quest. He sailed across the Seven Seas for something even more valuable than gold. He wanted stories.
“Stories,” he would say with a twinkle in his eye, “are the greatest treasures of all. Gold can buy you a fine ship, but a good story can take you on an adventure that no amount of money can buy.”
