Something stirs deep within the heart of the continent of Vardya. After a hundred year cease fire between the countries of Austerland and Enross, a new enemy awakens. The Nerosians. No one knows where they came from nor why they despise the Vardyians so much. All that is known is the path of destruction they leave behind in their wake. The people of Vardya are vastly outnumbered and outgunned with the high tech weaponry of the Enforcers. The only hope to save Vardya is to unite the two countries, in spite of their warring history, and take a stand.
Struggling to survive on her own, Satcha finds herself drawn into the very thing she hopes to avoid. The war. With no other option, she must help Captain Dominic Lightwood and the Enross army uncover the Blood Scrolls from the Neroso Enforcers in exchange for passage to the Free City. The Free City, a haven away from war, famish, and poverty.
The Nerosians aren't the only ones with their sights set on taking over Vardya. The struggle for power and control comes from all sides with the greed of men.
Book 2: The Secrets of Austerland coming late 2024
