The reluctant assassins: Clara and Damien

The second installment is a lot more mission forward than the first. Since the characters are well established and more developed the fun can really begin. Their next steps are simple learn more about Taz’s plan and stop him and eliminate his muscle a lone werewolf, who is more dangerous on his own than a whole pack of werewolves. Along the way, the duo discovers more details in Taz’s sinister plot making it clear how much of a psycho he is. The fact that he calls the coma patients his “family” is one example. I like that in the second installment more characters are utilized in unique ways (Maven and Moxie) or even at the expense of certain characters eg. Clara’s, making her feel awkward and uncomfortable. I know my review may not give it justice, but it’s worth a listen and a great follow up to the first book.

An enjoyable, unique read/listen 4 1/2 stars

The Reluctant Assassins: Clara and Damien: Delta Underground Operatives, Book 2, my thirty-third read from author Sarah Noffke. A well-written, interesting read, with intriguing, well-developed characters that make you want to read the whole ongoing story. I read it in one sitting. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author and in this series. Annalee Scott's narration again adds to the book’s enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Much Better then the 1st Book in this Series

I normal love everything this author writes, but book #1 of this Series was not all that good. Having said that, because I love this author I decided to give book #2 a try and found it much better the the 1st. Still not captivating enough to follow the balance of this Series. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and Storyline.

Incredible Paranormal Thriller

I enjoyed book 2 of the "Delta Underground Operatives" as much as the first one. Clara and Damien were looking for Taz Kiera, but to get to him, they had to find a rogue werewolf. The story was fast paced. I liked the characters of Clara and Damien. I liked their evolving relationship as they learned to work together. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Annalee Scott's narration was great, and she kept my attention with her performance. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.
