Surprisingly Good
I chose these books as a background noise while at work not expecting much but ate up the characters and writing style. Only complaint really is the way the narrarator messed up the word athame.

virtual voice
I hate virtual voice. it is without feeling or punctuation and that eerie feeling just takes all the joy out of the story

Great story and the character is awesome. Dakota Vesper seems hot af!
There are too many "for a beat"'s. The repetitive phrase started to get under my skin a little bit. Certainly became quite cringey... vietual voice SUCKS! many things were off on that too. like "surprise...... surprise" which should have been stated as, "surprise, surprise", it was very inhuman.

Story is good; narration is not
Story was good. It was a bit predictable but it is hard to get into with all of the virtual voice issues….long and awkward pauses or words mispronounced or lack of any emotion. Ruins even the best story

The AI voice is horrible. The inflections aren’t right. I can’t even get into the story because the narration is so bad.
