I love this book!

This book and the performance will keep you on edge the entire time! I felt every emotion of this character as if this was happening to me.

5 stars is not enough EJD is a Master story teller, genius, OMG talk about keeping it real.

Fantastic story line

Great story. Narration was fantastic. A real sit on the edge of your seat storyline. I am a big Eric Jerome Rickey fan. I have been a member of a book club for 15 years and we read at least 1-2 of his books every year. Can't wait for his next one.

It was Ok

The book content itself was good. But, the narrator's voices for the characters were horrible and annoying, especially the voices that she used for Charles and Yvette.

The story

The story telling and the unique unpredictable nature of the plot. I enjoy a good cliffhanger where that leave the readers thinking and pondering about the characters.

Life not lost

I loved this tantalizing tale of betrayal and finding oneself. Can't help but wonder if she finds success or her job at the station. And what direction did Jessica's life take?
