Looking in the mirror. Came across this book because Audible recommended it. Probably has something to do with the type of books I have been reading. Nevertheless, this is an excellent book. Look in the mirror!

Great Book by a Great Leader

From a distance I’ve followed Casey’s journey of building and selling companies and tried to copy much of what he’s done along the way. In this book Casey just pulled back the curtain and took my guessing games away and gave away the whole playbook. This book is pure gold and something I will be coming back to over and over! There aren’t enough stars in the rating category to effectively rate the value of this book!

Business Coach in a Book

This book will stick its finger out and poke you in the chest. It’ll make you rethink why you’re in business, then scoop you up and show you a new way to approach your daily affairs. Your eyes might become weepy, you will question Casey’s intelligence, then realize you should question your own. This book will make you think differently.

I read and listen to about 30 books a year. I’ve never experienced a book like this. I listed to the first handful of chapters of this book several times. I pondered the idea of Owners Intent for several days before finishing the remaining chapters. Highly recommended.

Very refreshing

A breathe of fresh air compared to all the other “business” and “sales” books constantly pumped out.

Highly recommended if you own a company, are thinking about starting one, or work in B2B sales.

Business Book with a Heart

Just finished the audio version of the no BS Business book.

I really liked the section on understanding your owner's intent and using it as a framework for especially big picture decision making.

Looking forward to going back more slowly and doing the homework.

A Grounded Approach to Purpose in Business

Before reading this book, I felt lost on why I was running my business. After being introduced to Casey's book and other work, I was able to find a way to ground the purpose of my business. Casey does not waste a word in a straightforward book that helps you find the meaning in your business and how to apply it. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone looking to reconnect with the purpose of their business.

A great book for future owners and managers

I was a fan of Casey from LinkedIn. I watched him grow in size and found myself wishing I could have been a part if his rockets ship.

The lessons he learned and solid foundation for building a no BS company are a great framework. You can easily adapt the advice he’s given for your own purposes whoever I think, sticking somewhat true to his plan, will yield you the best results.

Highly recommend this for someone with 2 or more employees.

As someone who has built and exited businesses, Casey lays it out with prine examples, mistakes and success stories, all backed into personal history and truths.

Great book for small business owners

Just finished the book and really enjoyed it. I have had a small business for 16 years and wish I would have read this book when I started my first one. I would highly encourage any business owner or leader to read it. There are many life lessons in it and many takeaways. Highly recommend.

Wisdom for all in leadership, not just small biz

Easy listen, full of wisdom for leaders and managers! Many points I will put into practice now and I plan to listen again to see I missed too much to take in and put into practice at one time. Casey's vulnerability is refreshing and endearing.
