An absolute delight

Molly the Maid is such a lovable character. I very much enjoy how the story came together. It was beautifully done.

Loved getting the full backstory of Gran

One of my favorite Molly the Maid stories. Impeccable narration (as always) by Lauren Ambrose.

This installment brings peace

I came to care so strongly for the characters that this latest entry in the series brought peace to my heart. I know Molly will always be cared for and will survive. Earlier in the series the story line, writing and characterizations were so gripping/enthralling I would be unsettled and worried for the characters going through a tough time. I’m still angry about the injustices portrayed in the books. But isn’t this an example of great writing and a great story? That it sticks in one’s mind? Awesome.

Book is excellent, Lauren Ambrose’s performance was perfect

I love this series! I enjoyed Molly’s journey and if it had to end I think this was a perfect ending.

In this book we get more of Molly’s Gran’s backstory and the characters change a lot through her telling of the past. I thought it was perfect but I am also one who can accept character change well assuming it is well written- which I think it was. Lauren Ambrose is such an excellent narrator and I think she’s one of the few actors who can take a great book and make it even better through her narration without straying from the page.

I’m so happy I read this, if you loved the other books this one will not disappoint!

Like This Series

This may be the last of the series, as everything seemed pretty tidy at the end, but it is light and entertaining. With all the world's worries, listening to something where the main characters are good people is nice.

Emotional, but mysterious

I would suggest listening to the previous books first, but this was the best of them all. It was wonderful. It’s been a long time that a book made me cry in a good way!

Molly the Maid is my hero!

I don’t often write reviews, and often I consider that is a flaw that I should correct. But I couldn’t go another second without writing a stellar review for this author, this narrator, and this Molly the Maid series! I am an avid reader and audiobook listener. I read multiple books at a time and I’m constantly listening to new audible book so when I say this book is one of my very favorites I hope you know that comes with a great amount of weight behind it. I adored this book for so many reasons, but a few of them are the authors ability to keep the reader immersed, an exemplary representation that narration can be clean and wholesome and still fascinating. Also captivating relatable characters I found myself in many aspects of all of the characters. I dare say this book even gave me pause when thinking about my own life and certain challenges and struggles that I endure, and what types and methods of positive outlook and gratitude could I show? thank you to the author to the narrator to all those that put effort and energy into making this possible. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I truly truly hope there are more written.

Best in the series!

I have loved all the Molly mysteries but this is my favorite so far! Loved the back and forth btwn Gran’s past and Molly’s present. So well done!
