Honeyman Scott’s ability to seamlessly blend genres, incorporating punk, rock, and new wave influences, showcased his versatility and creative genius. His was a talent the Pretenders would never find again, and the band never sounded the same.
Jimmy Scott was one of the last great guitar heroes. Perhaps what the world needs now is more guitar heroes.
