Better than the first.
I prefer this book to the first. However, My complaint as to the character of the MC is still valid . He lacks a tactical mindset regardless of his supposed training. It is difficult to reconcile what the author wants us to believe about the character compared to what we are given.

For a LitRPG not much RPG for me.
It was a fantasy story for sure. However I found that the RPG aspect was not there as much as I would have wanted it to be. Not sure I will move forward to the next book.

Lord of the Rings meets Game of Thrones!
Great story and narration!
Gryph and the gang are back and stirring up trouble like nobodies business! Chaos beasts, uppity elves, grumpy dwarves, Cthulhu-inspired psionic monsters, and world ending weapons of mass destruction are just a few of the hurdles that they will have to face. No pressure.
Armen Taylor's narration really brings the characters to life in this epic tale.
I enjoyed this one, and cant wait for the story to continue!
If you enjoyed the first book, then you will enjoy this one too!

I've enjoyed this book,

A great sequel
Another great addition to this up and coming series. The story keeps you on your toes and the narration really puts it over the top!
