I love this series!

A very cozy series. Reminds me of modern day Ms Marple. I am enjoying getting to know the regular characters.

3rd book in the Miss Busby's series. Thank you, Karen and Zoe, for making older women just as fun and interesting as younger ones.

Love the Miss Busby mystery’s

I really enjoyed this book, I was glad when I saw there was a third one ,hope there will be more. The stories witty and well written ,I didn’t guess the who done it till the end and the narrator is excellent.

Lovable fun characters

Enjoyed this book. I was kept guessing whodunit. I did find the setting of the big reveal too straight forward and lacked the ‘pull rabbit out of hat’ surprise factor, but I guess that was the style for Miss Busby series. It was still an overall very enjoyable audio book, with likeable characters like Miss Busby and Adeline, who was such a loud funny friend.
Narrator was very very good. She gave all characters such distinct voices that you won’t mix them up.

I am so entertained while listening to this series. Karen Baugh Menuhin’s writing have never disappointed added to Corrie James’s narration are perfection.

One her best!

Well done characters, setting and mystery ! What irks me with prior books in the series was toned down while better aspects were toned up! Will look forward to enjoying more!

Not as good as the Heathcliff series

Trying hard to like this series and that it would get better with each book. I will listen to the other series repeatedly but just not finding the stories or characters interesting. Might be my last book in this series

Not an engaging story

Characters were stereotypes with little interest. Predictable storyline. I wasted a credit on this one.

Not for me

I enjoyed the Lennox books for the most part but these Miss Busby titles don‘t do much for me. I had mostly fun in the first one, but the second was already a bit of a struggle. This third title made me give up around the middle of it. There‘s just nothing there that keeps me. The writing is lackluster and the main character is a non-entity for me. Her sidekick Adeleine is annoying as hell though but has more life than most of the other characters. Just not the sort of character I would want to spend any time with at all. Also, the situations are more and more … uninspired and you‘ve seen/read similar elsewhere.

I‘m sure others will find this series equally or more so interesting than the Lennox books - but I would suggest to the author to spend more time on writing and - even more importantly - editing than cranking them out at this pace. One book a year is sufficient. Same goes for the Lennox books, IMHO. I‘m guessing this is why the author brought another writer in to help her out. Better than have AI help her out, although judging by how this reads, I‘m not sure there isn‘t a generous dollop of that included, as it‘s just bland and faceless.

The reading is excellent though. I like it and it‘s probably also a large part why I‘ve stuck with it this long.

Boring

Beautiful writing, but the story was very slow and just not very interesting.
