Great storyline with a twist

First book that I've listened to from this author. Really enjoyed the character development. The suspense and linguistic specialty from the main character was really interesting and enjoyable. Linguistic studies was intriguing to learn about In relationships to FBI work.
Narration was enjoyable.
Loved the flow and pace of the book.
Enjoyed the twists that came together without effort at the end.
Looking forward to book two of this series.
Would definitely recommend this book and author.

This was an absolutely captivating story full of twists! I really enjoyed this book. Preordering the next book right away.

But wait! There’s more!

Interesting subject. I enjoyed most of the book. Characters a bit flat though, and the last twists and turns were too much. A simpler ending would have been more satisfying.

The main characters job description just didn’t interest me and the story couldn’t keep my attention

Pretty good book but prob a better book read vs an audio book. Too many characters and time periods to easily follow.

Wow! That was twists overload! Would have enjoyed a clearer ending; like clarity on did she have anything to do with the wife's murder.

The story

A wonderful book! Brianna Labuskes is one of my favorite authors! While this book did have a few F words it still falls into not a PG-13 rating! I love authors that can tell a tense, thrilling story with out resorting to swear words!
