Exciting and interesting read

Loved it. I read about 6 books a month and would recommend this one.

MZ’s best friend manipulates her into an engagement

M Z or Maura Zurich is the younger sister of Stefan and Luca. She agrees to do her friend Ford a favor and ends up engaged. This is only part 1 of a 3 part story. It is short but still has plenty of filler so it is again one of those trilogies that should have been a duet. The narration was great but 90% was Andi Ardnt/ Elena Wolfe and it would have been better with more Joe Arden. The story starts slowly with the MZ from the earlier series being very less confident and awkward. Ford is a manipulative jerk who eventually becomes more likable and more caring. In addition, the family has a new issue which adds to the drama and the story. I do wish these stories would come in 2 parts rather than a greedy and occasionally boring 3.

love hate

honestly, I hated this book when I started. I hated Ford for being arrogant and using Emzee. the solid twist when he realized it though, I'm so glad I stuck it out and I'm currently waiting for book two to download!!! worth the wait for sure!

This was a good book. The story flowed very well.

EXCELLANT NARRATORS!!

This is Emzee's story the last of the Zoric siblings trilogies. I love Stephan Lucas and Emzee Zoric. Each sibling trilogy was an amazing story!! Great Audible Edition!!

Emzee has been in love with her best friend Ford Malone since he protected her from being bullied in High School.

Years later he ask her to pretend to be his girlfriend to get his mother off his back about getting married to his Ex Claudia. Fords mother is a real B. She hate Emzee. I wish Ford had put his mother down instead of letting her continue her insults to Emzee!!

Emzee agrees to the rouse being his girlfriend. This leads to him marrying her. But it was one hot courtships. I think Ford and Emzee were a perfect couple. But both are hiding secrets so. Now I am off to read bk2. The Act!!

I couldn't stop listening to the Audible version of The Lie. The Narrators were Excellent!!

Great Listen

Great continuation of the story. Loving Ford and Emzi's story. Can't wait to listen to the next book.

im so ready for the 3rd book to releaae

after listening to the 1st book in audible I bought the 2nd in Kindle, since it isn't on audible. i must say, the 2nd book is fantastic but you must read them both to understand what is happening. going to be a long 5 weeks waiting for the conclusion.

Not enough Joe Arden but

I love Elena Wolfe but wanted more Joe Arden. Book is good and I’m on to the next in the series.
