The Last Blade of Grass is an emotionally turbulent, post-apocalyptic thriller that follows Eddie Keeper through his struggles to keep his family and friends alive. The nations of the world, already in serious economic decline, have turned to heavy police and military deployment to protect civilian lives and maintain law and order. A drug is designed and distributed to save lives, but side effects that were not detected during the rushed development cause the near destruction of the human race. This book focuses on the actions of Eddie, his family, and his friends during and after the collapse of society and the people they encounter that have either nothing or everything left to lose.

Woah… that was bad
This was recommended to me and I really wish it hadn’t been I listened to the whole thing only because I spent an entire credit on it but the experience was terrible. I got an overwhelming sense that the book was only written as a way for the author to live out some apocalyptic fantasy they had where they consequently act like a complete narcissist the entire time. Unless you’re into self involved, white male, alt right prepper vibes, I’d suggest skipping this book.
