History and fantasy in one

I love it, I want more please. I wasn't happy with the ending, I cried like a baby. I kept hoping that someone will show up with the revival potion and their story would continue. I am obviously not that familiar with Irish history. But I will definitely read the other novels that explore other characters more.

Horrible Ending
I won’t spoil it but i absolutely hated the ending! I know the author is setting up the story for the next book but the ending really made me mad. I enjoyed the book (although not as much as the first 2 books) it kept me interested. The narrators are great. The last portion of the story just really irked me. Not sure if I’ll continue the series or not.

Heartbreaking
The conclusion of the first part of this series left me feeling some kind of way.
I’m glad the series is continuing, though I’m unsure what that could look like. I just know there was a cliffhanger that made me run to see if there’s a book 4 coming out. Thankfully there is.
I think that’s the only thing that’s preventing me from a 2 star review.
The performances were wonderful, and they fixed the issues with the one narrator from the last book.
The pacing was slow/steady. I walked away from this for a week when something else I was working on took precedence, and didn’t really miss it during that week.
I’ll keep reading one book 4 comes out, simply to see what happens to the remaining characters.
