On top of the all time best books I've every read or heard in over 59 years of reading.

This book is well worth the money I spend for it but more importantly is is more than worth the time spent listening to it. If you have the opportunity to listen and you don't it is a tragedy for you as you will have missed so much telling of truth, wisdom, reality and practice advice applicable today. Namaste ...

hope, inner quieting and so much more and funny

was struggling to sleep at all due to my health, my dog's health, Covid, US drama. I played it in sleep mode for 6 hours. which I then needed to tend to dog. dog settled down to his voice, I settled into the message. I can't say enough. thank you Jack and Audible.

This book will remain one of my favorites forever and I will re-listen to it a number of times it is very poignant and productive for my life and personal growth

I really liked this.

Honestly, I don't understand many of the deeper concepts this fellow is talking about, but I really enjoyed the whole performance. Jack has a way of talking that makes you feel like he's had some sleeping pills and marijuana, and the whole thing made me feel relaxed and generally benevolent toward everyone. I'm listening it to it again right now. My favorite part is when he tells the story of a lady who, after some group meditation, had attempted to tuck a romantic note into the shoe of someone else in the class. There's something utterly hilarious about hearing someone with a voice like that of Jack Kornfield say the word "Birkenstocks." I'll listen to this whole performance over and over for sure. I'll hopefully start to understand the concepts better at some point.

A Jewel of a book!

I love listening to Jack Kornfield and this collection of dharma talks. This isn't a book that I start and power through quickly but one I think needs to be taken in small sittings over time. There is a ton of great information with thought provoking and life changing concepts presented here. However, time needs to be taken to process these ideas and ponder the deeper meaning. I recommend this recording to anyone interested in shifting their point of view and seeing things in a different light. I also find that each time I listen I hear something I had not noticed before. Definitely a book I return to frequently.
