Struggles to get through it
Many parallels to Romancing the Stone….. the female character became annoying after a while, way too much time spent listening to her and the Highlander go back-and-forth working on trust. The mail voices were terrible, the Highlander, who’s supposed to be the handsome hero of the story sounded like a creepy lecherous troll. It was very difficult to enjoy the characters.

The Intrigue
Loved the whole story, disliked the raspy fake male voice from the narrator. I think I’d rather get the rest of the books from the library and read them myself.
