Great book!

This was a great book and very poignant at the end, I will read his other books now. Great author.

Story line kept me awake for the entire book. Good job by the reader and author both.

The author keeps it rolling! Humanity pops up in unlikely places. Cursing to a minimum which I always associate with an author who challenges himself to write a more intelligent novel

Barely a 4. Easy to listen to, some interesting quirks, but nothing really new or different here. A solid crime novel.

Lots of characters

Listening to this in audible was challenging for me as there were many characters. Too many to keep track of in my head, but I pushed thru and finished it and enjoyed it.

Not your average action mystery

It was really good. Fast paced, likable characters. Much better than the average mystery story.

Too violent

Good story with pretty interesting characters but the violence will prevent me from choosing another book by this author.

Not wickedly clever, but good enough

I enjoyed this book, the main character was someone you could root for which is important to me if I want to finish a book. A few twists, I will consider others by this author.

Good 1st half, then...

Great start and good 1st half of this one. Good writing quality and realistic locale details. Becomes less and less interesting as it goes. The main motivations driving the story are weak. Oh well. Maybe 2.5 stars overall. Narration was ok but not memorable.
