This audiobook suffers from bad audio production. If I hadn't been listening at 2.5x speed, the gaps between chapters would have driven me crazy.

EXCELLENT READ!!
This book is amazing! This is one of my all time favorite Stephen King books. If you liked books like stand by me or The Green Mile you'll love this book. Nothing supernatural in it, its just a great story.

Good Narration
I don't think the narration could have been any better. I was very impressed with the job Ann Heche did. I was caught up in the story and holding out hope that she would make it out. As always, Mr. King draws it out as long as possible, but by the end you have a very clear picture of his intent.

My favorite audio so far...
this is by far my favorite audiobook so far. I must have listened to this story over 10 times now. great story. wonderful suspense. Perfect pacing!

Loved it
I've read this book three times in the past twenty years or so and bought it for family members as gifts. One of Stephen King's best works. I was hypnotized. Flawless!

Edge of your seat story
Anne Heche’s is the perfect narrator for this edge of your seat story. Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions that you just can’t stop listening to, and makes you hold your breath right to the end.
